We are looking for a software engineer to to join our team in Basel.

A central focus will be further developing openBIS, our in-house Java- and JavaScript-based research data management platform, electronic laboratory notebook and laboratory information management system, and services around it.

In addition to ongoing maintenance and feature development, you will join at the start of a major redevelopment of openBIS. Development of a new JavaScript UI is planned as well as migrating the back-end to a microservices architecture.

You will also engage in other development tasks such as O3-PPS, a web-based tool for modelling and visualising ozone treatment of water systems, and integrating services to meet customer needs.
